Lake Arrowhead is rising and doesn’t look to be stopping anytime soon!

Since January 1, 2019, the lake has risen over 2’ (2.37’).

February 8th update: Since January first the Lake has come up 5’ and is only down 4.2

This rise in lake levels was fueled by the influx of storms earlier in the month – with total precipitation from those storms totaling about 6 inches.

And with more rain and snow on the way, lake levels are expected to rise even more! So what does this mean for dock owners?

Whenever there is a decent amount of rain, the lake rises very quickly — which can negatively affect dock owners if the dock is not moved up right away.   As soon as weather permits after a storm, we have our barges out on the lake moving up all our Dock Watch customers’ docks. Once we have completed those, we then start moving up any call-in moves. At Kiwi Docks, we’ve had to move over 150 docks in January alone due to the rising lake levels.

This means that there has never been a better time to sign up for our Dock Watch Program! Save Time, Save Money, and Have Peace of Mind. Our customers’ docks are moved as needed – saving them the hassle of having to monitor it themselves and calling us when it needs a move.  On top of that, we discount the cost-per-move by $100 in or out! Dock watch customers get priority and are moved up before any non dock watch customers.

You’ve invested a lot of time and money into your docks and we want to help ensure that your dock lasts for years to come! Our fully-loaded work barges are on the lake year-round to monitor docks and respond immediately with any problems or repair needs.

Sign up for Dock Watch today and enjoy peace of mind knowing that your dock is in good hands all winter long!
